DCMprinter receives images directly from DICOM modalities and prints them on a regular Windows paper printer. It provides a practical alternative to expensive film printing for patient and referring-physician hardcopies.

From modality to paper

DCMprinter is intended for environments where a modality needs to produce convenient paper hardcopies. The application accepts the DICOM print job, renders the images and sends the result through the normal Windows printing system.

Cost-effective hardcopies

Paper output can be useful for patients, referring physicians and workflows where diagnostic film is not required. DCMprinter keeps this process within the existing DICOM workflow while using readily available printer hardware.
